To provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all runners.

    • We do ask members to take responsibility for their own Health and Safety, combined with helping others as and when necessary.
    • When attending Training sessions, members are declaring themselves Physically Fit to run. Please inform us of any relevant Medical Conditions which may make it harder for you to run.
    • Designated Run Leaders are to carry a mobile phone with ICE details.
    • High Visibility Vests are mandatory on all training nights. Head Torches are also recommended in the winter months.
    • When running on the Road, no more than two abreast and single file if necessary.
    • Our policy is to run in groups wherever possible. If your group becomes separated check that everyone has made it back safely.
    • For safety reasons we do not allow headphones to be worn.
    • We encourage all members to wear their club vest when racing and out generally. This not only helps promote the club, but the distinctive turquoise and purple make it easy to spot fellow runners in a race.
    • Dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
    • All sessions will take place on public road or land. Winter sessions will be in well-lit areas and summer session we will venture into the Countryside.
